• Domiciliary Care - long term and respite care in the home

Whatever your personal care needs The Local Care Group is here to help you. You might feel you would like someone in the house while you take a bath or you might need some help washing and dressing in the mornings. we dont want to take away your independence - our carers will assist you and encourage you to , do what you can yourself and help you when you require it - whatever you care needs and aspirations.

  • Companionship & Homemaking

'Your carers are always willing to do anything to help me in any situation' - i think this quote from our clients to the Care Quality Commission says it all. We realise that a home cooked meal or just having someone to talk to makes all the difference. So often adult children spend the time they have available to spend with parents doing chores - why not let us hoover or change the beds so you can spend 'quality time' together

  • Mini Breaks & Day Trips

Many of our clients are still mobile - just because you might need help with some activities of daily living it does not mean you are restricted to staying indoors - our carers are insured to take you out - whether it is for a walk and a coffee or for a trip to the seaside. We can even accompany you away either on a short break and have been on hand at special family occasions such as weddings and christenings when the adult children have other responsibilities.

  • Live-In & Respite Care

Home is the safest place for you as long as the level of care is sufficient to satisfy your needs and keep you safe. The Local Care Group can supply a carer to stay with you for one or two weeks whilst your usual care team take a short break or for longer periods. You can remain safe in your own home surrounded by your own furniture and memories.
